My husband and I have been metal detecting for about 5 years. We both have White's XLT detectors. Mike bought me mine first thinking that we can share the detector. Well... that did not last long as we both wanted to detect at the same time...LOL... So I bought him his detector and now we always have friendly little competitions between us. He likes to do custom programs and I mostly use the pre-programmed options that come with the XLT. In this page my goal is to show some of the items that we have found and to show how much fun detecting can be. Welcome and if you have any questions let us know...

Over looked spot

Hey everyone
Make sure when you don't over look a spot like this deep in the woods. I walked over and sat down a few times after detecting a spot in the woods. I never detect this spot at all. I found out later that people that deer hunted in this woods would sit years ago. Wife and I went back detected the spot and found a few wheat Penny's and got a nice hit at 6 1/2 inches and found a 1954 sliver guarder pretty good day for hunting a woods. Old deer hunting woods are being pretty darn good. There are lots of over looked coins in deer hunting woods. I also found some of those 1/2 Penny's and one cents in the woods. Talk to you all soon. Some great finds today

Hey everyone,
just stop in to show some of my finds the last few days. Went to a farm dating back to the 1700 in Delaware. Got a great hit on the xlt and pulled out a Indian head and a few wheat Penny's. Let me know if anyone has seen a ring like this one. As you can see I also got two nice buttons. if you know about what year these are drop me a email. The silver was about 9 1/2 inches deep. The farm field use to have a house on it. Well we are headed back to it in a few days. talk to you all soon. Mike EAST COAST METAL DETECTING
